X5's are a fictional group of supersoldiers created by Manticore in the tv show Dark Angel.

The X5's are part of a military government program to create a generation of super soldiers for use in battle. They are also known as 'transgenics'.

X5's are only one type of super soldier created for the program with other variations starting from the X1 to other series; each one possessing different genetic traits from other animals.
