X1 (gold alloy)

X1 is a gold alloy made with nickel and is considered to be in the Grade 1 category. Created by Stuller Inc. in Lafayette, Louisiana, the gold achieves it's white color without the need of rhodium plating. Having passed EU Nickel Release Tests, the alloy is available in 19k, 18k, 14k, and 10k casting grain, sheet, sizing stock, and matching solders.

- 18 Carat 1,852°F to 1,940°F (1,011°C to 1,060°C).
- 14 Carat 1,880°F to 1,955°F (1,027°C to 1,068°C).
- 10 Carat 2,000°F to 2,075°F (1,093°C to 1,135°C).
