Wyevale Garden Centres PLC is a chain of 114 garden centres in the United Kingdom. The first garden centre was opened in the 1960s on Kings Acre Road in Hereford where a local nursery was that sold plants by mail-order from the 1930's. In 1987 it became a PLC. It is now listed on the London Stock Exchange. The chain expanded rapidly in the 1990s and also acquired Country Gardens in 2000.

The company's main office still remains in Hereford.

At the end of September 2006 it was announced that after a 16 month campaign by Animal Aid, Wyevale Garden Centres announced a new policy decision to stop selling live animals in its stores. [1] [2] [3]
