[edit] Midgely deletion of material

This user decided to delete:

  • The European Commissioner for Health and Consumer Protection blamed the presence of illegal steroids in the food supply on "fraudulent exchange and disposal of pharmaceutical waste". A Wyeth factory disposing of the byproducts from synthetic progesterone manufacture was the source of the contamination. [1]

I have put it back in. The same user changed my active voice sentence to passive voice in another edit - no good writing midge but thanks for removing POV style lang which came from the source. Mccready 07:02, 31 March 2006 (UTC)

Whatever. I didn't think that a company whose name is not mentioned and I forget using wastewater to make something that was then fed to animals was really either encyclopaedic about Wyeth, nor that the paragraph was well-enough written to remain in the page in its present form. It looks more like a piece of something else to me. The phrasing is really rather painful, and it is arguably libellous. Midgley 12:09, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
