The logo of the 20th World Youth Day in Cologne, Germany consists of four parts:
- the Cross symbolizing the presence of Jesus Christ
- a yellow star – the Star of Bethlehem which showed the Three Wise Men, the road they need yo travel to reach Jesus – symolizing divine guidance
- towers of the Cologne Cathedral
- lower blue arc representing the river Rhine
- a blue stylized letter "C", which stands for Christ.
