WYBB is an Active Rock Radio Station in Charleston, SC that advertises and does business as 98X or The X.
Prior to January 2, 2004 WYBB was known as 98 Rock.
The format flip took place January 2, 2004 with a montage of songs and clips after a day of "Sound Effects Radio". Clips of sound effects were played from 12 Midnight New Years Day until 6am on January 2, 2004. At 6AM WYBB's Morning Show (Howard Stern) came on with announcements that a big change was coming at 10 AM. At 10 AM the montage was fired and The X was born. The first song on the air was Guerilla Radio from Rage Against The Machine.

6am - 10am: The Tom Bolt Show w/ Laura Lee
10am - 3pm: Amy Hutto
3pm - 7pm: Potter - Happy Hour
7pm - 12am: X Night Staff including Ray Lewis, Laine Joiner, and The Dudge
12am - 6am: Ray Lewis
Friday and Saturday nights from 7pm - 12am: BamNation Unleashed hosted by Bam Bam (Ron House guest stars frequently)
Sunday nights from 11pm - 1am: Harder Faster X, an extreme music show(metal, hardcore, industrial) hosted by Ron House (with Becca keeping him in line)
