[edit] History

The original call sign was WTOS, which referred to its city of license, when it signed on in the 1960s. For a long time, 103.7 was WEZW, which featured a beautiful music format. As the format withered away on radio dials across the country during the 1980s and 1990s, 103.7 tweaked the format by adding adult contemporary music with vocals, changing it's calls to WAMG in 1995 and slogan to Magic 103.7. Unable to compete with WLTQ, they flipped to a Rhythmic Adult Contemporary format. In 1998, 103.7 Kiss FM was born.

[edit] The $10000 Kiss FM Fugitive

The $10000 Kiss FM fugitive is a popular feature on Kiss FM. The object is to catch and ask the fugitive these exact words "Are you the $10000 Kiss FM fugitive? and he/she will give you the 10 grand. If you say the question wrong, the fugitive will not give you the money. There have been two fugitives, one in 2005 and one in 2006. The current (2006) fugitive also has a MySpace. The fugitive [Ann] has been captured by Jessica Yarbrough of Racine, Wisconsin.
