WXBQ-FM is one of several Tri-Cities Country radio stations. WXBQ is owned by Bristol Broadcasting Company, with "twin" radio stations WQBE-FM in Charleston, West Virginia, and WKYQ-FM in Paducah, Kentucky. WXBQ broadcasts with an ERP of 75,000 watts. WXBQ is the leader in the Arbitron ratings for the Tri-Cities Metropolitan Statistical Area. According to Bristol Broadcasting Company, WXBQ's listening audience is strong in the 18 to 49 (male and female), and 25 to 54 (male and female) demographic ranges. Also, according to WXBQ's official website, the station says they have been #1 in the market for more than 15 years.
