WVIR-TV "NBC 29" is a television station in Charlottesville, Virginia, broadcasting locally on channel 29 as an NBC affiliate. Until 2004, WVIR was the only commercial network station in the Charlottesville market (except for a low-power PAX-TV network station). WVIR's programming can also be seen in Harrisonburg on W28BF channel 28.

As of September 18, 2006, WVIR is the area's affiliate of the The CW on the station's new DT3 digital subchannel. The channel is known as "CW 29". Also on this date, a new weekday WVIR-produced newscast at 10 PM began to air on the new subchannel.

Although it does not have a radar of its own, WVIR uses live NOAA NWS radar data from several regional sites in a forecasting system presented onscreen as "Triple Doppler".
