WVAU
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
WVAU is the college radio station of American University. Formerly 610 WVAU-AM and 101.7 WVAU-FM, it changed when the station moved facilities from WAMU's basement in the early 1990s. Its carrier current AM and ATV cable FM broadcast were disabled, and it became an Internet-only station. Its student predecessors include the now-professional WAMU and early WAMC. The station is staffed entirely by American University students from its studio in the Mary Graydon Center.
