[edit] The period at the end of Accel is totally unnecesary.

Accel. is an abbreviation of "acceleration". It's proper to place a period at the end of it. It might cause temporary confusion if its missing, as it's harder to identify it as an abbreviation. Perhaps it's not strictly necessary, but neither are periods at the end of sentances –Gunslinger47 17:49, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Check the discussion page for Accel for the argument. It's not just an abbreviation of "acceleration", I'm pretty sure it's an example of wasei-eigo, as I've seen "Accel" used a number of times on other Japanese products and websites, and though it is derived from "acceleration" or "accelerator", it's usually used with the same context as "awaken". As I also mentioned, rules for full stop in abbreviations are also vague, and romanizations of Japanese shorthand, portmanteaus, wasei-eigo, and the like are often romanized as if they were words unto themselves, such as "depart" for "department store", even though it has a totally different meaning. [edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Narutimate Accel Logo.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Narutimate Accel Logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] Zack "Fair"

Hi, thanks for your contribution to Zack's article. However, it seems you did a "copy and paste" move to the Zack (Final Fantasy VII) article in order to accomplish this. This is just a little tip for next time: you can move a page using the "move" tab at the top of the page (next to "history"). Doing this will preserve the edit history of the article (which is a good thing). In the meantime, I've requested a history merge for the Zack page. Thanks. Axem Titanium 03:15, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Links

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policies for further explanations of links that are considered appropriate. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you.—— Eagle101 Need help? 06:41, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
I suggest you actually look at the contents of the websites before reverting them for spam. I can't possibly contemplate how the websites of the official publishers of the novels, or the writer's official fanclub, could be considered spam. Thanks for the "welcome" and "newcomers" ifnromation, but I've actually been here for over a year, and have put a lot of work into some of these articles. WtW-Suzaku 06:56, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
