WTSB
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
WTSB is an AM station in Selma, North Carolina broadcasting on 1090. The station was formerly known as "Triangle Sports Talk" and aired a mix of local sports programming and ESPN Radio. The station's sports programming was simulcasted over WDUR 1490 in Durham because the 1090 signal was unable to reach areas west of Raleigh and 1090 went off-air after dark.
Both stations have since stopped sports programming and the Raleigh-Durham ESPN Radio affiliation went to WDNC.
WTSB was formerly known as WBZB which was a country, gospel and eventually an all-local music station.
Currently, both WTSB is broadcasting a stunting format of rock music interrupted only by the occasional commercial and station identification.
