I am a sociologist and analyst with the Fannie Mae Foundation and Vinq LLC--the primary developer of the Foundation's online community development resources. I work with a lively team that provides information and data assistance to community development organizations. I'm especially interested in sustainable development, and in ways to foster civic participation. Much of my research has revolved around modeling historical change in styles of public engagement in the U.S. -- especially forms of civic education in colleges & universities over the past century.
