WSKG-FM

WSKG-FM, 89.3 MHz FM, is an NPR member station in Binghamton, New York. It has an effective radiated power of 11.5 kW. Due to hilly terrain, the signal is repeated on several other frequencies located throughout Western New York State.

WSKG-FM began it's broadcast on October of 1975.

The station's format is principally classical music and NPR news.

WSKG-FM has four repeater stations to rebroadcast it's programming. The repeater stations are WSQG-FM 90.9 Mhz Ithica NY, WSQC-FM 91.7 Mhz Oneonta NY, WSQE-FM 91.1 Mhz Corning NY, and WSQA-FM 88.7 Mhz Hornell NY. In addition, the station operates an FM translator in Watkins Glen NY, W215AB at 90.9 Mhz.

WSKG-TV and WSQX-FM are other broadcast stations operated by the WSKG Public Telecommunications Council, Inc.
