Please note that I have Asperger's Syndrome. This basically means that social interactions that are easy and natural for most people are not easy and natural for me. In particular, discussing things can be difficult and stressful for me, so I frequently prefer to avoid doing so. I may not respond to you. I may delete what you post on this, my personal Talk page.
I'm just someone who has difficulty interacting. |
[edit] Dark energy
Yes, I agree that the issue is how to make it accesible. I didn't think as hard as I should have before reverting your edit--sorry about that. -- SCZenz 16:18, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Demographics of Lhasa
Whenever I read contemporary accounts about the demographics of Lhasa, the author always says that Lhasa now has a Han majority. Without exception. Sometimes these are written by Tibetan exiles, but often they are written by foreign journalists. This is the most recent. Currently the article goes on the PRC statistics, which we know are flawed, as they do not take into account either the unusually large military presence, or the vast popularion of unregistered, "floating" migrants. Thanks for leaving a message, a fresh pair of eyes never hurts.

[edit] Re: Vandalisms
Thanks for your note! When a certain IP address is vandalising currently, you should report it at WP:AIV. This makes sure that more admins are aware of the vandalism, and ensures a faster response time, as one specific admin may be offline at the time the message was left for them, like I was :) Thanks! — FireFox • T • 17:05, 7 February 2006

[edit] Your userpage was briefly delisted by a rogue admin
You have a userbox Template:User UN which links your userpage to United Nations Wikipedians. There is currently a movement to ban userboxes from Wikipedia which are shared and which create Lists of Wikipedians. Certain admins have taken it upon themselves to preemptively sabotage and/or delete such categories and template. Here is the incident report which reported damage to yours, in which hundreds of userpages were delinked from categories without the users' knowledge. They have been stopped, barely, and the damage reverted— for now.
There is a Wikipedia:Userbox policy poll, which if passed, will make required by policy the damage done to categories and templates such as User UN/United Nations Wikipedians. If you do not want this to happen, I urge you to vote Oppose. in the poll. Support is currently running at about 66%, and your vote could make the difference. It is said to require 75%-80% to be deemed reflective of consensus.
Thank you,

[edit] Trans-Amazonian highway
Hello,
Thank you for your stub submission. You may wish to note that it is preferable to use a stub template from Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Stub types instead of using simply {{stub}}, if you can.
Thanks!

[edit] Kudos for WikiProject_Dinosaurs/missing
Thanks for your work on Wikipedia:WikiProject_Dinosaurs/shortest_articles aka Wikipedia:WikiProject_Dinosaurs/missing. :-) -- Writtenonsand 15:25, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
- Hi Writtenonsand!
- Thanks for your nice note. Feel free to expand on any dinosaurs on that list. Even one or two sentences would help those articles greatly. I will try to find info on growth rings in bones; good catch. Best wishes, Firsfron of Ronchester 15:37, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] J'Accuse response
Good day, WikiProject Novels people. I just attempted to learn something about Adventures of Huckleberry Finn
- you maybe right - however bear in mind that this is all edited on a voluntary basis and the work is from all of us. If you know more - add more. I will however add this to our list of nominated Wikipedia:WikiProject Novels/Collaboration candidates. Thanks :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 16:02, 13 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Hidden Lake Academy
I recently started a AfD on Hidden Lake Academy
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion
My reason was:
"Article violates most of Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, most especially by using weasel words to make NPOV attacks against people and institutions. Possibly legally-actionable. Please note that I've never seen this page before today, have never heard of any person or institution mentioned, and have no axe whatsoever to grind in this discussion." -- see WP:WEASEL, WP:NPOV
Please note that I don't know anything about the previous discussion about Hidden Lake Academy or any person or institution involved. I honestly don't give a rap about this subject, except insofar as I want to see good articles on Wikipedia, and I am very unlikely to respond to questions or comments about it, except as part of the official AfD process. (I.e., you may want to save yourself the trouble.)
I see myself as being in the situation of someone who sees smoke and calls the fire department -- I don't know what's going on and don't care: I'm just notifying the proper authorities. -- Writtenonsand 17:02, 15 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] copright / coprighted
Howdy. We apparently have a number of pages mentioning "copright" or "coprighted". I've also xposted this to User talk:JoeBot, however you guys divvy things up. Thanks. -- Writtenonsand 22:30, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks. I actually already had "copright" on my misspellings list, but for some reason had missed out "coprighted". If I come across any pages with them on it, they'll get fixed up automatically. Cheers, CmdrObot 22:42, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Novels Collaboration of the Month
You supported Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, which has been selected as the Novels WikiProject's new Collaboration of the Month. Please help improve this article towards featured article standard. :: Kevinalewis : (Talk Page)/(Desk) 11:26, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Collabs / classification
Hi, Casliber. I thought that the note you posted on Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Dinosaurs#Voting_on_next_collab......... was a useful way of comparing various nominees / past collabs. Would you be interested in crossposting this to Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Dinosaurs/Dinosaur collaboration? -- Writtenonsand 16:08, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Bolsa Familia
Thank you. Bolsa Escola was just a transfer for schools. It started at a local level and expanded gradually, as more municipalities (Brazilian counties) adopted it. It was instituted on a national level around 2000, and Bolsa Escola was integrated in Bolsa Familia in 2003. OneWorld22 06:13, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] As far as politics go
I am in support of Hillary R. Clinton for the presidency (and can't tolerate it when someone tries to call her a male). And I am pretty sure that if people are rejecting evolutionary science and global warming at this point, they're just going up a river in Egypt without a paddle (;D) A hearty salute to your unexpected friendly comments on my talk page. [edit] Re: User:Metzenberg and User:ZayZayEm
Hi Writtenonsand. Thanks for your comments. My reaction to User:Metzenberg's attempt at compromise is rude. I admit that. This has been a rather large incident and extends much further back over several pages, I am currently attempting to get User:Metzenberg to come to mediation. User:Metzenberg has been consistently rude, arrogant and hostile towards me, I have tried to bite my tongue, but sometimes you know, "enough is enough". I will try to keep cool.--ZayZayEM 00:00, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
