I was born in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Harrisburg on March 19, 1981. I graduated from Camp Hill High School in 2000 and attended Shippensburg University and Harrisburg Area Community College before joining the Army in March 2002. I deployed as an Infantryman for 1 year to Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo as part of KFOR6B. I spent additional time training at Fort Lewis, WA and Grafenwohr, Germany. In 2006, I attended the National Geospacial Intelligence College at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, where I transitioned my MOS to Geospacial Analyst (part of the Corps of Engineers). I am currently a member of the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. I have been married for two years and my wife and I are expecting our second child in February. We currently live in Pottsville, Pennsylvania.

I am an avid map collector and focus much of my interest on geographic and historical topics related to Pennsylvania. As stated in the user boxes to the right, I am a huge fan of all Pittsburgh teams, as well as my hometown teams: the Harrisburg Senators and the Hershey Bears. I'm an avid Wikipedian for Harrisburg-related topics.
