Wressle

Wressle is a village and civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England, lying on the eastern bank of the River Derwent approximately 3 miles north west of Howden. The village is served by a railway station on the Hull to York Line.

The civil parish consists of the village of Wressle and the hamlets of Brind and Newsholme. According to the 2001 UK census, Wressle parish had a population of 261.

Wressle Castle, a Grade I listed ruin, is located here.
