[edit] Quality scale

The first table below gives a brief, one-sentence description of possible quality scale values. Before assigning any article to a class, please take a few moments and read the full description of the Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team's assessment system.

[Also see the Other Template Parameters, in the second table below.]

Each article may also be assigned to a particular class, intended as a point-in-time assessment of its overall "quality" - relative to the criteria given in the quality scale which is detailed below. Articles for which a valid class has not yet been provided are listed by default in Category:Unassessed Hawaii articles.

The following values may be used for the class parameter (they should be entered exactly as given):

Class parameter values (Category:Hawaii articles by quality)

[edit] Importance scale

Each article may also be assigned a particular importance; for Hawaii, we make a very simple use of this. Articles for which a valid importance has not yet been provided are listed by default in Category:Unassigned-importance Hawaii articles.

The following values may be used for the importance parameter (they should be entered exactly as given):

Class parameter values (Category:Hawaii articles by importance)
Value Meaning Category
class=Top Major, broad articles Top-importance Hawaii articles
class=High All actual Hawaii and similar entities High-importance Hawaii articles
