[edit] Discusssion
I love woxy.com and I love freeform radio, but I'm not convinced woxy.com's programming really qualifies as "freeform".
- Heh, I believe that there's a lot of debate about what exactly that means. I dunno, you could call it "eclectic" or something, but I kind of hate that term... —User:Mulad (talk) 19:30, May 14, 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Rain Man
Can someone verify the reference to Woxy in Rain Man (just quote wherever they mention it)? 134.53.166.124 00:07, 5 April 2006 (UTC)
It was in the Cincinnati Enquirer article about the station closing. NickBurns 21:41, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] other things to add
Amount of listenership at a certain time
Trivia? Happen to have an estimation of how many songs, or hours, have been on the air during terrestrial? or internet so far?
Any mention of the boards?
More WOXY unique commercials? What about better details for the features, events, & special broadcasts? (as I wrote those things about the 500 & battle of bands off the top of my fading memory & it could definitely use more bands that made it big/national after the competition)
Name of staff members through the years?
What about the correct spelling for the Baloughs & their 1st names? Perhaps a description of their intent to start up the station? or something a bit personal about them & what they wanted?
Specific broadcast range?
anything else. Don't worry, be aggressive in adding/editing, we can revert bad edits or fix up inaccuracies. Give this radiostation article a bit more character... please. --Duemellon 13:39, 15 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Yay
I know this is un-professional and naughty wikiness for me to say so, but YAY that WOXY may be back! I'm very happy to hear this. Hope it will go back to being played on iTunes radio. NickBurns 17:53, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
