Worthing and District Football League
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Worthing and District Football League is a football competition based in Sussex, England. It has a Premier Division, which sits at step 7 of the National League System (level 11 of the overall English football league system), with Divisions One, Two and Three beneath it. The top club in the Premier Division is eligible for promotion to the Sussex County Football League, while the bottom club will get relegated to Division One. Because of the irregular nature of the pyramid in Sussex (namely, the fact that the SCL has three divisions), the Worthing and District League is effectively at level 12 despite its official Step 7/level 11 status.
The Premier Division has 11 clubs for the 2006-07 season.
