World Soundtrack Academy

The World Soundtrack Academy (WSA), launched in 2001 by the Flanders International Film Festival, is aimed at organizing and overseeing the educational, cultural and professional aspects of the art of film music, including the preservation of the history of the soundtrack and its worldwide promotion.

In addition to this, at a later time, the Academy Board will also select the Discovery of the Year 2006. In addition to the Awards presented by the Academy, the public around the world can vote here for their choice of the best soundtrack for 2006 (Public Choice Award).
