The World Regenesis Organization (WRO, known in Japan as the World Restoration Organization) is a fictional group in the Final Fantasy series.

Founded by Reeve Tuesti two years after the events in Final Fantasy VII (as shown by the acronym 'WRO' on a road sign in the Advent Children movie), The primary objective of the WRO is to help heal and protect the planet against those who would wish to do it more harm. To help accomplish this, they have formed a large military force. Reeve also utilizes the assistance of most of the gang from Final Fantasy VII, although they don't seem to be official members.
The WRO is financially backed by an unknown benefactor (hinted to be Rufus Shinra, hoping to help undo the damage he and his company caused to the planet).

Many members of WRO are currently nameless as the majority of them are either soldiers or scientists with some exceptions:

- Reeve Tuesti, the founder and leader
- Cait Sith, an animatronic cat designed by Reeve. Although usually controlled by Reeve, it seems capable of independent actions and has its own distinct voice and personality.
- Shalua Rui, a WRO scientist
- Yuffie Kisaragi, drafted into the WRO and placed in charge of espionage and intelligence gathering.
- Cid Highwind, placed in charge of the airship division.

Several characters from Final Fantasy VII have helped aid the WRO, but it is unsure if they are official members, or simply lending Reeve a hand. These include:
- Cloud Strife
- Tifa Lockhart
- Barret Wallace (Likely aiding in the search for an alternative natural resource in oil.)
- Red XIII
- Rufus Shinra (Likely financial backer of the WRO)
Though not a member, Vincent Valentine aided the WRO on many occasions as he is targeted by the Deepground.
