Working USA: The Journal of Labor and Society is an inter-disciplinary social science journal focusing on capitalism, labor relations, the working class and the labor unions. Although primarily focusing on the United States, the journal publishes articles focusing on the role of the American economy and labor movement in an international perspective and essays on labor and the working class throughout the world.

The target audience is comprised of academics, student-workers, legal scholars, labor union activists, and internationalists.

''WorkingUSA The Journal of Labor and Society'' began publication in 1995. The quarterly journal is published by Blackwell Publishing. The editorial office of WUSA: The Journal of Labor and Society is Brooklyn College Graduate Center for Worker Education, 25 Broadway, 7th Floor, New York 10004 NY - US. The journal editorial board is composed of leading scholars from throughout the world, including Au Loong-yu, Bill Adams, Debdas Banerjee, Paul Germanatta, Rick Hurd, Robin D.G. Kelley, Manning Marable, Frances Fox Piven, Saskia Sassen, Jane Slaughter, Paul Taillon, and Wilhelmina Trout. WUSA's editor is Immanuel Ness.

WorkingUSA has an admittedly left bent: The journal endeavors to promote thoughtful analysis of the current and future prospects of the working class and the poor that advances beyond the narrow goals of individuals and corporations. The journal sees workers as the most powerful force to promote a more equitable and just society in the immediate and long-term, and sustain the best interests of all and the sustainable economic viability of the planet.

Working USA is an interdisciplinary journal welcoming unsolicited contributions on issues related to workers, labor, and class struggles from historians, sociologists, political scientists, and labor experts. All submissions are refereed through a peer-review process.
