WordPerfect Office

WordPerfect Office is an office suite. As of 2006, the latest version is WordPerfect Office X3 (representing 13), which is available in various editions. The major components are:
- WordPerfect, word processor .wpd .wp6-files
- Quattro Pro, spreadsheet .qwp .wp3-files
- Paradox, database management program .pdx-files
- Corel Presentations, slide show creation .shw-files
- CorelCENTRAL, personal information manager
- Trellix, web design software .htm-files
- Dragon NaturallySpeaking, speech recognition (not in the standard edition)
WordPerfect Suite was assembled by Novell in 1994 and sold to Corel in 1996.
- 1994 — WordPerfect Classic Suite, DOS — WP 6.0, Quattro Pro 5.0, Presentations 2.0
- 1996 — Corel WordPerfect Suite 7 for Windows 95.
- 1997 — Corel WordPerfect Suite 8.
- 1999 — WordPerfect Office 2000 Professional (WordPerfect 9, Quattro Pro 9, Presentations 9, Paradox 9, CorelCENTRAL 9, Trellix 2)
- 2001 — WordPerfect Office 2002 (version 10)
- 2003 — WordPerfect Office (version 11)
- 2004 — WordPerfect Office (version 12)
- 2006 — WordPerfect Office X3 (version 13)
- 2007 — Corel announced that WordPerfect Office X3 will support OpenDocument Format (ODF) and MS Office Open XML by mid-year.

Of the suite components, only WordPerfect has had a Macintosh Version. Development ended with Version 3.5e for the Macintosh. Corel released that final version as freeware in 1998, before halting development.
