The Worcester Tornadoes are a Can-Am League team based in Worcester, Massachusetts. Since the 2005 season, they have played in the Canadian-American Association of Professional Baseball, which is not affilitated with Major League Baseball.

The team played its first game in May 2005; its home field is Hanover Insurance Park at Fitton Field, located at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester. The Tornadoes are owned by Perfect Game LLC. Ted Tye is Chairman of the Board, RC Reuteman is president/GM and the team is managed by former Boston Red Sox catcher Rich Gedman with Gedman's former batterymate, Bob Ojeda, as pitching coach. Amenities at the 3,000 seat park include restrooms, souvenir shops, and concession stands.

They were named after a destructive tornado that hit Worcester on June 9, 1953.

The Tornadoes, in their first year of existence, won the Can-Am League Championship after sweeping the Quebec Capitales three games to none. After beating Quebec in the first two games in Canada, the Tornadoes clinched the championship on its home field on September 15, 2005.
