[edit] Name confliction & webcast

ABC now has another web-based program caleld "World News Now", which is NOT the same as the overnight news cast. Further, the webcast of the overnight "World News Now" is no longer being offered. The article needs updating. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.222.175.89 (talk) 04:35, 6 December 2006 (UTC).

[edit] Anchor pairings

Does anybody happen to know the anchor pairings from between 1997 to now? Searches on Google and MSN are not helping me. Thanks. Thistheman 18:19, 20 May 2006 (UTC)

Not exactly able to fill the gaps, but hopefully help with the present unknowns. From www.abcmedia.net, Ron Corning joined on August 3, 2004. Heather Cabot joined on January 18, 2005, unable to ascertain when she left and Taina Hernandez joined.--White Pony | Θαλκ 07:59, 9 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Exit Ron Corning, Enter Hari Sreenivasan

Ron Corning recently left WNN and WNTM... and Wiki only credits Taina Hernandez as the current co-anchor... isn't Hari Sreenivasan the new co-anchor, or are they just using him temporarily????

It looks as though he may be a permanent replacement for Corning---for the time being anyway. By the way, what kind of name is Hari Sreenivasan? I mean, what cultural background is he from? Thank you. 65.7.36.194 07:15, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
He's from India. Both the first and last names are common Indian names. Thistheman 19:26, 27 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] BBC

I only recall BBC presenting only financial news. When did they start doing the general news? Were they ever 2 separate segments? Wl219 09:33, 20 September 2006 (UTC)
