Justice League: Worlds Collide

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Justice League: Worlds Collide is the name of an unproduced Justice League DTV set in the DCAU. It was originally going to be produced concurrently with the first season of Justice League Unlimited, bridging the gap between the second season of Justice League and the relaunched show. The production was shelved just before the start of filming.[1]

[edit] Plot

All that is known of the plot is that it would have involved the Justice League going up against the Crime Syndicate of America. Bruce Timm has been unwilling to elaborate on details in case it is still produced.

[edit] Trivia

  • In the DTV, Wonder Woman was going to acquire her invisible jet. However, since the DTV was not made, the jet appeared without explanation in the episode "For the Man Who Has Everything". Similarly, Bruce Timm has stated that Worlds Collide would have led into the sixty-strong Justice League.
  • Since the story was going to take place after "Starcrossed", Hawkgirl was going to be absent. Thus, Martian Manhunter was going to be the only Leaguer without a CSA counterpart.
  • The Justice League episode, "A Better World" was originally planned as a Crime Syndicate story. It ended up introducing the Justice Lords.
