Woodard Racing
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Woodard Racing (formerly Woodard & Sharp Racing) is a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series team. They field the #25 Dodge for Boston Reid with limited sponsorship from Red Rocks Cafe.
[edit] Formation
The team tapped Reid to drive in December 2005, in hopes of a full season in 2006. They then received technical support from Evernham Motorsports, and purchased its owner's points from Orleans Racing. That was the former #62 team.
[edit] Results
Reid struggled early to avoid trouble. He crashed out of the first two races, but to this point has finished every race since. The team has been steadily improving and beginning to be a regular top-20 finisher.
Eddie Sharp, part co-owner of the team, left in April 2006, and now it is just Woodard Racing.
October 2006: Boston Reid and Woodard Racing parted ways, putting Damon Lusk back behind the wheel of a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series truck. Lusk is scheduled to drive the No. 25 Dodge for the remainder of the 2006 season. The team is actively searching for sponsorship for 2007. The team has changed the address of their website and appears to be coming back in 2007 with Damon Lusk as the driver.
