Shifu Wong Kiew Kit Wong Kiew Kit is the fourth generation successor from the Shaolin Monastery of China, and a grandmaster of Shaolin Kung Fu and Chi Kung.[1]

Sifu Wong Kiew Kit received the Qigong Master of the Year award at the Second World Congress on Qigong held from 21st to 23rd November 1997 in San Francisco, USA.[2]

[edit] Career as an Author

Wong Kiew Kit has authored several books on martial arts and philosophy. His works include "The Complete Book of Tai Chi Chuan", "The Art of Shaolin Kung Fu", "Chi Kung for Health and Vitality" and "The Complete Book of Zen."[citation needed] He also authored the best selling[citation needed] "The Art of Chi Kung", published in 1993. After three reprints the book was translated into Spanish and German.

Wong Kiew Kit is the fourth generation successor of Jiang Nan from the famous Shaolin Monastery in China.[3] Wong Kiew Kit's legacy is over 150 years old. His lineage traces back to the Southern Shaolin Monastery through two patriarchs; Lai Chin Wah and Ho Fatt Nam.

[edit] Teaching Kung Fu

Wong Kiew Kit has over 2000 students world-wide through various branches of the Shaolin Wahnam Institute.[citation needed] The Shaolin arts, as taught at the Shaolin Wahnam Institute, is of the soft, internal kind. They are comprised of Shaolin Kungfu, Shaolin Chi Kung, Tai Chi Chuan and Shaolin Zen.
