Wolx Hound a major enemy within the Japanese anime Elemental Gelade, which is popular to a moderate extent.

Wolx Hound is a high ranking Edil Raid mercenary that seems to care little towards the well being of others. Wolx meets up with his primary Edil Raid ally, Tilel, a very small young girl with golden hair and green eyes. Wolx had seen her potential flowing through her when she had been sitting in the rain in an ally way; Tilel had been no more than an orphan. However, Wolx thinks nothing of Tilel's feelings and treats her simply as a weapon after he takes her along with him. Wolx always tells Tilel not to talk against his orders or he will throw her away and find a new "tool". The first time in which Wolx is seen within the series was within a graveyard area. After Arc Aile had asked if Wolx could retrieve a certain girl by the name of Selina, who was an Edil Raid. Wolx soon finds Selina, but is quickly countered by Coud, who is at the time merged with Ren. A large duel ensues, in which ends with the fleeing of Wolx, who now swears he will attain Coud's Edil Raid, Ren, as to be his ultimate tool.

Later on in the series, it seems that Wolx effectively captures Selina and turns her into Arc Aile. After Ren later runs away, and Coud attempts to find her, Coud unluckly meets up with Wolx again. Wolx insistenly orders Coud to hurry up and tell him where Ren is. This leads to Coud continuously running away desperately from Wolx, who displays his prowess as a Pledger to a high extent. Wolx then however falls into a minor trap set by the desperate Coud in which the cabin that Wolx had been in collapses after being set free from various wires set by Coud. With the help of Kuea, Rowen, and Cisqua, Coud is able to effectively defeat Wolx. However, the young Edil Raid, Tilel protects Wolx to her upmost extent, in which she shows her true feelings for Wolx, spite the way she is treated by him. After the others leave, Tilel tries wiping on Wolx's wounds. Wolx will make a few more appearances in the anime after this event.
