Wolleka

Wolleka is a village in Ethiopia, north of Gorgora near Gondar, with a longitude and latitude of 12°38′N, 37°29′E. The city is located in the former Begemder province, in modern day Amhara Region. It is the main centre of the Beta Israel - Ethiopian Jews. Although its population has declined, it is known for its synagogue and for pottery.

The Central Statistical Agency has not published an estimate for its 2005 population.
