Wolf Robe (between 1838 and 18411910, Oklahoma[1]) was a Southern Cheyenne chief and a holder of Benjamin Harrison Peace Medal. During the late 1870s he was forced to leave the open plains and relocate his tribe on a reservation in Oklahoma. In 1863 he and Helen Rushmore translated and wrote down the legends of the Acoma tribe in the book The Dancing Horses of Acoma, and Other Acoma Indian Stories.
