Wolf Island
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Wolf Island along with Isla Darwin are said to be among the best diving destinations in the Galápagos as well as in the world. A truly superb dive site, this tiny island of 1.3 square kilometers, is a 14 hour journey by boat. However, the rewards of coming here are well worth the effort, as you are not only treated to some spectacular underwater scenes, but you also get the chance to come meet a huge variety of endemic Galápagos birds. Unlike neighboring Darwin Island, where landing is difficult, Wolf provides, for example, the best place to see the famous Vampire Finch.
