[edit] Streete Court
When were you at Streete Court? I have re-started the Streete Court Club www.streetecourtschool.co.uk
- I'll have to get back to you on that one. My Streete Court days are all blur.

[edit] Fefnir and Harpuia
To be honest, I don't know enough about the subjects to really judge; I just noticed that they seemed to be duplicates. But I'll be happy to help move or delete stuff once it's all sorted out. tregoweth 19:26, 12 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks
I present this award for helping me expand the article of Megaman Zero characters; as well as (in my eyes at least) being one of the few people in wikipedia who share as much knowledge and enthusiasum about the Zero franchise as I do. Let's continue to keep making great megaman articles together! -MegamanZero 20:35 20, November 2005 (UTC)
- Arguments? What arguments..? Megaman fanatics like ourselves don't have arguments; we have constructive critisism! I see it like this Wolf: I put up the articles, and you perfect em'. That's why we're a great team. And its why our Zero articles are one of the best on the internet.-MegamanZero 12:52 20, November 2005
[edit] Wikipedia:Counter Un-civility Unit
Wikipedia:Counter Un-civility Unit is a new wiki-project I have thought up. I was wondering if you thought it was a good idea and if you wanted to join up. I need some users backing me before I construct a wikiproject, and you seem to share my views on subjects such as concensus, civilty, etc. Reply on my talkpage if you're interested. Thanks, -MegamanZero|Talk 16:36, 6 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Query
What's wrong with my talkpage..? -MegamanZero|Talk 22:42, 6 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Regarding the cameo section
Concerning this edit, I absolutely agree with you. I believe I had added back in there for completion, and wasn't really thinking about the content (it was late at night). I shall, indeed insert that info in his character article instead. Other than that, my edits are pretty good, no..? -MegamanZero|Talk 12:43, 7 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] You'd better see this
Hello, Dear wolf. Could you take a look at this article...? It reaks of fancruft, and... well, (see for yourself) and I'm too damned lazy at the momment to fix it... Here's what's wrong:
- The article reaks of fancruft. Seriously. Its source information is from the Ciel- Network's fanfic section even (Reploids don't have penises!).
- Iris never had a last name. and it sure as hell ain't "Thorne".
- She isn't "spritally" with Zero in the Mega Man Zero series.
- She isn't a re-incarnation of the Dark Elf.
- She never carried no damn automatic pistol.
- Sigma never mind-controlled her.
- She doesn't have a fucking father.
- We already have a Iris article down at the List of Mega Man X characters anyway.
- She's a reploid, not a "advanced bio- android"
...And other things. I'd gladly revamp this article myself, but I'm busy overhalling the cast-of-thousands KOF character pages, and well, geez. I'm considering just deleting it instead. -MegamanZero|Talk 18:55, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
- P.S. Take a look at this nonsense when you get the time. Incredible. Absolutely incredible. Since when do robots have reproductive organs and sperm...? I'm utterly flabbergasted by these people's lack of respect for Mega Man canon and their antics. -MegamanZero|Talk 18:59, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
-
- Alright then. All take care of it:
- a) Deletion
or
- b) Overhall
Ethier way, I'm ready to get on this now. And, also... would did you think of that Mega Man Legends Fanfic..? Capcom would flip over nonsense such as that. "Cumming" and "Horny" (?)...?! Some people just need to accept canon. I sure as hell have. -MegamanZero|Talk 22:12, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Message left on my talkpage by a Mega Man fan

[edit] Apology
Hello Wolf.... I've given my demeanor towards you today some thought and I believe I was somewhat too agressive in my actions and manner. For this, I apologize, as it had naught to do with you, and I was simply placing my mood in the wrong location. I've began a new project, and I'm somewhat irritant resulting from the impending workload and the persistant vandals at work on the Mega Man Zero article (See the history). Regardless, such actions agaist your person are unacceptable in my eyes, and I hope you consider my condlenses in our future endeavors. -ZeroTalk 14:44, 10 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Page name for temperature articles
To avoid flip-flopping between 'degree Fahrenheit' and 'Fahrenheit' or 'degree Celsius' and 'Celsius', I propose that we have a discussion on which we want. I see you have contributed on units of measurement, please express your opinion at Talk:Units of measurement. Thanks. bobblewik 22:48, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] MobyGames
I do not think the MobyGames links count as linkspam. Of course this depends on a game by game basis. I would be interested to hear your thoughts.
Wikipedia:External_links specifically
- Sites that contain neutral and accurate material not already in the article. Ideally this content should be integrated into the Wikipedia article, then the link would remain as a reference.
- Sites with other meaningful, relevant content that is not suitable for inclusion in an article, such as textbooks or reviews.
My rationale is credits
--Flipkin 20:32, 16 March 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, but those credits pages weren't linked. The links led to pages that contained no new information and a form to buy games from MobyGames. It seemed like a cynical attempt to promote the site's services. Wolf ODonnell 12:37, 17 March 2006 (UTC)
I believe the credits and other stuff are available from the game page. I do know a debate broken out at CVP and I think the concenus was MG links were OK provided the individual article editors make a game by game judgement call on if they ( the links ) provided additional and useful info since some of the entries in MG are better than others. My argument ( and you are feel to disagree ) is that credits is something that is not available in the 'pedia and the credits are useful info. --Flipkin 14:05, 17 March 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, but none of the links I've ever deleted have been direct links to the credits. Hence, I removed them. I might consider not deleting links to the credits, but they really have to be direct links to the credits and not indirect like the ones I've deleted. Also, couldn't you try to find a Capcom-run site that has the same information? Wolf ODonnell 14:07, 17 March 2006 (UTC)
-
- Please see WP:EL, Flipkin. The policy and countless others state that external links are only to be utilized in the case of broadening the reader's information and expanding the coverage of the respective article. I've just finished looking over the moby site and none of the respective links cover or reiterate the source material, and hence are considered spam. If I come across another moby link inserted in another video game article that already provides sufficient coverage I will remove it. Wikipedia is not a site for external link spamming. Please think before inserting another one and remember the purpose of an external link in regards to the encyclopedia. -ZeroTalk 15:11, 17 March 2006 (UTC)
-
-
- Well we disagree on that, but that is OK. My point is that the 'pedia typically does not have credits, extensive box covers or extensive screenshots. Not to sound like too much of a shill the credits are relational so one would be able to see other games people have worked on example. A discussion broke out at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Computer_and_video_games and the consensus was that the individual article editors determine whether the link should be added. In fact a Template:Moby_game was created for this purpose. I am just trying to articulate my point of view and hopefully/maybe convince you that the links are OK. It doesn't seem like I am doing a good job. --Flipkin 15:47, 17 March 2006 (UTC)
-
We don't really need extensive screenshots or box cover art. No other games article in Wikipedia has those. As for credits, maybe, but not a single link I've ever come across has actually been a direct one to credits. And not a single game article in these forums that I've ever come across has a link to extensive credits. No one really wants to know. Perhaps if we say who the game was made by, what company, who was the executive producer, that people would want to know, but nothing else. Wolf ODonnell 19:54, 17 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Sourcebooks
Please see Talk:Colonel (Mega Man). I'm trying to attempt an concensus. -ZeroTalk 13:30, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
- A consensus or what? Either way, I can't help you. I'm only an expert on BN up to the third game and the Zero Series. Nothing else, I'm afraid. Wolf ODonnell 13:57, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
You aren't reading what I've written. I know very little about the X Series, including whether sourcebooks exist for it or not. I also know nothing about MMBN after the third game. Colonel certainly did not appear the first, second or third game. You're asking the wrong person to do all this stuff. Wolf ODonnell 08:56, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
-
- I don't think you quite get the deal here. I'm not making a request for you to insert X series information. I merely inquired you validate that Mega Man series sourcebooks exist. Its not too difficult to come to the logical conclusion that if the Zero series has source mauals, then the X series would as well. Concerning that, I suggest you play Mega Man X collection for the Playstation 2 and Gamecube to get on a good start for the iterations. -ZeroTalk 13:49, 23 April 2006 (UTC)
I don't think you quite get the deal here. If I know next to nothing about the X Series, how am I supposed to know whether there are sourcebooks or not? I haven't heard about any Megaman X sourcebooks, but then again up until recently, I hadn't even heard of the Gameboy Color games. You're asking the wrong person. Wolf ODonnell 11:26, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
-
- Well that's debateable dear, but irrelevant at this point. See Talk:Colonel (Mega Man). And please go out and purchase Mega Man X collection. -ZeroTalk 13:22, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
In the UK? Where it hasn't been released? Forget it. You can forget about me helping you out on this matter. Wolf ODonnell 14:03, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
-
- What are you referring to...? The situation is already settled; I do not require a vouch from you at this time. If you live in the UK, it hasn't have been released by now, the distribution for Europe is not yet stated. My apologies, I made the presumption you lived in America. I wasn't inflamed, I simply asked you play it to learn about the series. -ZeroTalk 14:10, 25 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Getting some Mega Man articles up to GA
I noticed you've expressed interest in getting some Mega Man articles up to GA. Wanna trade? I know you've been working on Mega Man Zero 4, and I've been working on Mega Man Battle Network 5. I figure a fresh set of eyes and hands on each might be a good idea. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 17:43, 7 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Centralized video game navbox discussion
You previously expressed a strongly-stated opinion about a video game navbox or all video game navboxes in general, or perhaps I clicked on your talk page by mistake. Whichever it is, you are invited to offer your opinion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Video games#Navboxes III: Son of Navboxes. - A Man In Bl♟ck (conspire | past ops) 07:27, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
