WOKI is an FM radio station owned by "Citadel Broadcasting of Knoxville, Tennessee.
The station is a variety hits station that plays all kinds of songs from the past and present.
The station goes by "98.7 Earl FM".
WOKI operates a 8,000 watt tower at 98.7 MHZ twenty miles northwest of Knoxville, TN.
WOKI-FM, previously on 100,000 watt 100.3, had a very successful format in the 1970s and 1980s when they broadcasted a Top-40 format as "FM 100", "Hits 100", and "I-100". The station also broadcasted a country format and an Adult Album Alternative format as "100.3 The River" and later, "98.7 The River" when the WOKI call letters moved to 98.7.
