This article is about a character in Wagner's Ring cycle. For the ship in the Xenosaga game series, please see Woglinde.

Woglinde (whose name means "gentle evenness or balance") is one of the three Rhinemaidens who appear in Richard Wagner's Ring cycle.

When the curtain rises at the beginning of Das Rheingold, she is guarding the magic Rhinegold lying at the bottom of the river Rhine. As it turns out, the Rhinemaidens are unsuccessful in preventing Alberich stealing the gold and forging the eponymous Ring.

She and her two sisters Wellgunde and Flosshilde also sing to Siegfried in Götterdämmerung, but are equally unsuccessful in inducing him to return the Ring.
