WOFM 94.7 Mosinee, WI is a variety hits formatted station in the Wausau, WI market. The station is owned and operated by Duke Wright's Midwest Communications and operates at an ERP of 50,000 watts. The station's slogan is "The Valley" and it simmulcasts with its sister station WIZD 99.9 Rudolph and translater W206AI 102.9 Wausau

WOFM has had a long history of oldies formats. It was a stand alone oldies station as "Oldies 94.7" during most of the 90s. In the late 90s-early 2000s it began simmulcasting with its sister station WIZD 99.9FM under the name "The Oldies Station" This was done to allow the entire Wausau-Stevens Point radio market to be linked with 1 oldies station.

In 2004, WIZD and WOFM became known as "Cool FM" still with oldies.

In August of 2005, WIZD and WOFM separated. WIZD became simply 99.9 WIZD heavily targeting the Plover and Stevens Point area in which the station is local to. WOFM continued using the Cool FM name with Westwood One's oldies channel and a chopped up jingle packages from both Cool FM and the Oldies 94.7 days.

In October 2005 it was announced that WOFM would switch format. The new format turned out to be rhythmic CHR as "Wild 94-7"

The rhythmic CHR format was short lived however. The current format debuted in March of 2006 under the name "94.7 The Peak"

In September 2006, WOFM and WIZD began simmulcasting together once again as "The Valley"

• The station currently carries Green Bay Packers football.

Like Midwest's other Guaranteed Music Variety stations, WOFM consists of a laid back voice tracked presentation. The DJs never talk over the songs, they ID all of them and rarely say much. The station has no imaging except for (also like the other GMV stations) a TOH where a voice guy says when a voice guy says "You're hearing a different kind of radio station (ski sound effect) W O F M (tone) 94.7 The Peak" at the top of the hour. Midwest's other "Guaranteed Music Variety" stations are the same.

Music on WOFM consists of classic hits and oldies from the 60s and 70s, 80s hits, and 90s-Current Hot AC and some gold Soft AC. The variety of music is guaranteed.

WOFM & WIZD share automation logs with their sister station WZBY in Green Bay. This has been done since WOFM became Wild 94-7. Both stations have the same songs on at the same time although they are not a complete simmulcast.
