WNMX in an FM radio station broadcasting at a frequency of 106.1 mhz serving the Charlotte market. While WNMX is licensed to the Union County town of Waxhaw, North Carolina, its studios are actually in Charlotte.

It uses the identifier "Mix 106", along with the slogans "Timeless Classics" and "Great Music for the Good Life". Its music consists of a blend of pop standards, easy listening vocal works, and "soft" oldies designed to appeal to a wide age-range, with its playlist covering a wide timespan as well. While it draws heavily from songs that were hits during the 1960's and 1970's, the playlist occasionally reaches into the 1950's and 1980's as well. Artists featured on the station's playlist include solo artists such John Denver, Perry Como, Anne Murray, Barry Manilow, Barbra Streisand, Neil Diamond, Diana Ross, Elton John, Glen Campbell, Kenny Rogers, and B. J. Thomas. Groups featured include the Beatles, Chicago, the Hollies, the Bee Gees, Simon and Garfunkel, and the Mamas and Papas. Instrumental works performed by artists such as Herb Alpert, Percy Faith, and Henry Mancini are also played frequently.

The station features newscasts from ABC Radio at the start of each hour.

Note: due to league restrictions of the NBA, the games of the Bobcats can not be heard via the station's website.

The station previously broadcast the games of the WNBA's Charlotte Sting prior to the team's ceasing operations on January 2, 2007.
