WMMP is the MyNetworkTV television affiliate in Charleston, South Carolina. It broadcasts its analog signal on UHF channel 36, and its digital signal on UHF channel 35. It is owned by the Sinclair Broadcast Group. Prior to September 2006, it was affiliated with UPN. Its transmitter is located in Awendaw, South Carolina. It is the sister station to FOX affiliate WTAT channel 24.
WMMP offered The Tube music network on DT2 until the end of 2006.
Prior to its ownership by Sinclair (and move to WTAT's offices), its offices were actually on Sullivan's Island, in the old WCIV studios.
