WMHK-FM 89.7 is a non commercial Christian radio station in Columbia, South Carolina. It is owned and operated by Columbia International University. Its programming includes Contemporary Christian music and "family programming."
The station was founded in 1976 and enjoys much higher ratings than most other CCM stations. Its morning show is tied for first in the Columbia market.
CIU operates a sister station in Charlotte, WRCM; it is programmed separately from WMHK.
