This is a scan of a b&w photo taken of WTP the night before he died in 1942, after giving an address to the DAR on the Golden (50th) Anniversary of the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. The photographer is unknown; the photo was published once in the Oct 1942 issue of "The Flag Speaks", a newsletter of the United States Flag Association, which has long since disbanded. No copyright is known to be associated with the photo, nor is there any associated with this scan of it.
