WJNI-LP channel 42 is a low-powered television station in Charleston, South Carolina, affiliated with the America One Television network.
WJNI is owned and operated by Jabar Communications out of Charleston, which owns several radio stations, including WJNI-FM.
WJNI is committed to the urban minority community of Charleston and is a heavy contributor to the excellence in African-American media.
Previously, WJNI was affiliated with the UATV network; however, UATV suspended operations indefinitely on May 1, 2006.
