Today's Topic: Poor Craig Patrick
 "The Pittsburgh Penguins are on a roll, and I'll tell you what, Ray Shero is doing a bang-up job! This guy comes in here and turns this mediocre team into a Eastern Conference powerhouse!" Ask just about anyone in Pittsburgh about the Penguins new manager, and this is what you'll hear. Now, don't get me wrong- Ray Shero is pretty good. Unfortunatley, Craig Patrick was better. Sure, he was the scapegoat for the Pens' rough times, but check out his last few drafts: '06: Sidney Crosby. '05: Evgeni Malkin. '04: Marc-Andre Fleury. '03: Ryan Whitney. These guys have turned out to be good, no great picks for the Pens. But poor Craig Patrick was run out of town before the fruit was harvested. Ray Shero comes in, and look what he's got! The Pens end up with more talented players than Michael Moore with dougnuts. Give him one more season, and everyone would be hailing the second reign of Craig Patrick. Just something to think about.

Marc-Andre Fleury responded to Penguins coach Michel Therrien's criticizm Tuesday night by holding the New Jersey Devils to one goal. Unfortunatley for Fleury, Martin Brodeur was one goal better. Brodeur was spectacular in net once again, earning his NHL leading 12th shutout of the season. The Devils only goal of the night was scored by Jamie Langenbrunner on the Power Play, 3:00 into the second period, assisted by Scott Gomez and Patrick Elias. Image:Beef_cuts.svg‎
