Wizard Whitebeard
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Wizard Whitebeard is the magical friend of Waldo in the Where's Waldo series. He often visits Waldo with one of his many magical scrolls (something he always ends up losing). The Wizard is recognizable by his red robe, blue hat, long white beard, and his striped staff. The Wizard is the one with the magic that allows Waldo and his friends to travel to all the magical and far off lands.
The Wizard first appeared in 1989 in the book The Great Waldo Search.
[edit] The Wizard's Scrolls
Wizard Whitebeard told Waldo to continue his journeys but that he must seek the 12 lost scrolls for then he would understand the purpose of his journey; then he would see the truth about himself. Waldo did so and learned of the Land of Waldos.
[edit] Home
Wizard Whitebeard lives in a cave. His home was first shown in the Where's Waldo? TV show in the episode A Stone Age Story. The exterior of the cave features two large stone scrolls and the spacious inside showcases several old cave paintings from the pre-historic times.
