[edit] Merger with Ministry entry?

I feel that all the various authorities that are part of the Ministry of magic should be described in the article for the ministry. Alternatively all departments / divisions / offices should have their own entry. My preference goes for a single article. I propose a merger. Please feel free to discuss. [edit] Origin

Is Wizengamot based on witenagemot? The name at least, if not the concept (I'm not very familiar with the Harry Potter books). I don't know if it's important if it is, but I thought I'd ask. -- Adam Bishop

Looks about right. Good stuff -- Jim Regan 22:41 4 Jul 2003 (UTC)

[edit] Pronunciation

The article states

Wizengamot is pronounced [wɪzengʊmʊt] in the audio CDs.

Which CDs would that be? Is that Jim Dale or Stephen Fry? Alternatively do they pronounce it the same? —Phil | Talk 15:31, 31 October 2005 (UTC)
