[edit] Album Art

The artist that We Are Scientists hired for the album cover quit the day it was due. Six months prior, a friend had taken in a stray cat. Michael Tapper, the drummer for We Are Scientists, offered to take care of the animal for two weeks. It happened to be pregnant, unbeknown to Michael, and had kittens under his bed. The kittens stayed in his apartment for nearly two months. Before giving them away, the band decided to take pictures of themselves with the kittens. They ended up using these pictures for the album cover and sleeve notes.
