I changed the bit about getting them to lie on the stand to influencing their testimony... Witness tampering can include perjury, but also can include outright refusal to testify or not telling the entirety of the truth.

Is this just a US term? If so, it should say so, if not, it shouldn't have a quote which appears to be part of US law. Is this even worthy of a wikipedia article? --Xyzzyplugh 15:14, 22 September 2006 (UTC)
