It seems a great pity that, with the wealth of information on the first of the two external links, there is not a great deal more to add about Withyham!. Nothing is said about Buckhurst, the seat of the Earl De La Warr, for example; and although one correspondent on the article is the webmaster of the parish church, that there is nothing said about the 17th century fire! I am sure that this doesn't need to be a stub Peter Shearan 18:58, 2 January 2006 (UTC)

I am currently working on expanding this page to tell more of the history of WIthyham. As a resident i was disappointed to discover the lack of information, and now hope to rectify that.
