Wishin' and Hopin' is a song by Hal David and Burt Bacharach. It was first recorded by Dionne Warwick in 1963, then Dusty Springfield (who had a U.S. Top Ten hit with it)in 1964, and also The Merseybeats, Stephanie McIntosh (2006).
