Wishart State School

Wishart State School is a primary state school located in Wishart, Brisbane, Australia. Its current principal is Mr. Walker and deputy principal Mrs. Witt. The school has over 600 students in attendance. The school has many different programs such as Japanese, French, physical recreation, computer studies and has a well accomplished music program. The school has a catchment area where students can come from, which is being implemented through strong security checks of every 5 year old. This is administed by the school's new security officer.
It is the first school ever in Queensland and can be traced back to the early convicts. It also won an award in December 1996 for best quality school in Brisbane south east district of Nathan.
